"Don't throw stones at your neighbors, if your own windows are glass"
This quote means that you shouldn't do things to others that you don't want them to do to you. It also means that you you shouldn't attack others and not expect them to strike back. At least be able to defend yourself when you start something.

My personal essay
My name is Huroy Regis and I was born on May 31st 1995 and I'm 16 years old. I came from a small island in the Caribbean called Grenada. I grew up in a household with about eight people. I attended a catholic school which was very strict. I learned discipline at a very young age. My grand parents raised and thought me well. When I was only four years old, my mother moved to the U.S. so that she can have a better opportunity and a good job so that she can support us at home.
I've been very athletic ever since I was born. I ran track for my school from second to fourth grade and was one of the fastest in my division at the time. At age ten, my two brothers and I moved to the U.S. to live with my mother and stepfather in Brooklyn, NY. The first elementary school I attended in Brooklyn was P.S. 397 in Flatbush. There, I made new friends and learned to play the game of football. I noticed that it was a very aggressive and fast-paced, and that was perfect for me. I fell in love with the sport and became very good at it. I also switched to P.S.159 and when I graduated I attended UFT secondary charter school and I've been there for about five years now.
In the future, I want to become a pilot. Over the summer of 2011, I really thought about flying planes in the future. I literally had weird dreams about it. I downloaded this game called flight simulator x, a game based on flying. It's really fun and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in being a pilot. Most likely I might not accomplish this dream in the future, so I have a plan b. My plan b is to play in the NFL and become well known out there in the world. Well I don't have to be well known I just wanna play football.
That's a little bit of information about me that I felt like sharing. I also hope that I accomplish either one of my future goals which are becoming a pilot or NFL superstar. If I fail, then I'll need to find a new passion or join the army or U.S. air force.
